iphones peaked during 13 seires which i'll say the last true iPhone which had decent improvements from previous years as i myself found loads of 12PM user upgrading to 13PM just within the year !! i mean even the average people found that phone quite amazing and some of those folks likes to hold off for at least till 17 or whichever the year that offers major upgrades !!

I think i might get a pro for my next phone. 13PM is just to big, bulky and heavy for one-handed use and not very pocketable. If the standard models added pro motion, I'd probably go for that instead

I upgraded from iPhone 13 to the 16 and it’s a change for me cuz my 13 was lagging and taking long to load apps. What sold me on it was the action button/ Dynamic Island and the new camera button

This is a nice comparison and for the first time, there are differences between the base model iPhones with the back of the iPhone 16 having a stacked camera setup vs the diagonal camera setup on the 13, overall the experience is the same as they’re both using 60Hz panels and another major difference is the display size with the iPhone 16 being slightly larger 6.3 inch display on the 16 vs the 6.1 inch display on the 13, if I wasn’t used to 120Hz and the better 5x zoom on my 16 Pro Max then i would definitely choose the 16 and overall the upgrade from the 13 to the 16 is definitely noticeable and it will be even more noticeable with Apple Intelligence when it launches this month.

As a 12 mini user, I’m really trying to wait another year for the rumored iPhone 17 Air model because I hate bulky phones in my pocket. But as someone who doesn’t use cases, my 12 mini might not survive another year.
