Would've been nice to include why they are so expensive, for example One World Trade Centre (Freedom Tower) only has a high price tag because of the concrete used in its construction and the limited time window they had to set the specialised concrete before it set in the trucks or pipes

As controversial as casinos can be, I suspect they are one of the few commercial enterprises that can afford this kind of investment, let alone expect any return on it.

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is so expensive because they have to do land reclamation, which they have to buy an island (literally) from Indonesia for the entire complex.
And the structure is so massive and complicated as well.

It would have been interesting to have a breakdown of the cost; showing land value vs actual construction. I know with the Marina Bay Sands that the land was a very significant portion of the $5.7B price.

The Cosmopolitan hotel in Vegas is the most amazing hotel I've ever seen. Truly a marvel and wealth personified.

The video should be called the largest and most expensive building complex, not skyscraper. A skyscraper is one building. not many together.
