Honestly I feel like the inquisitors make for great villains for Jedi. They offer a sith like experience while also enforcing the will of the Empire. That’s why I think Trilla made for such a better villain than Dagan Gera.

Marrok turns out to be not only the only inquisitor who kept his name, but it turns out he was also the number one. Impressive.

I don't believe Marrok was undead at all. For one, nightsister magic has to be constantly channeled in order to keep the zombies going. Two, Marrok spoke and was able to execute complex actions, which no other nightsister zombie has displayed. Three, it was said that Marrok was a mercenary, not one of Elsbeth's minions. If he was undead, he would only serve her, and would have no reason to become a mercenary for hire.

I think there is more reason to conclude that he was simply enhanced by her, in the same fashion as someone like Savage Opress. When Savage died, he also emitted a green mist from his body.

It’s actually interesting to think not just “Disney” fault for the confusing of the new inquisitors Marrok and 11th, but the fact that I thought the grand inquisitor was #1 of the inquisitors thinking he was one of the strongest of them all

There’s a theory that says that marrok, who is the 1st brother; barriss, the second; the guy from tales of the jedi episode 6, the third and the fourth sister are the first inquisitors, and in tales of the empire they are introduced to their master vader by the grand inquisitor, and then, months later, in the comic books of “Darth Vader: Dark Lord” (2017) the grand inquisitor introduces, the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth to vader also. So the inquisitor from tales of the jedi would be the third brother, who later being killed by ahsoka is replaced with reva sevander. And barriss is the second sister, who, being left the inquisitorious is replaced with trilla suduri. That makes a lot of sense to me.

3:58-4:18 I still think Marrok/First Brother actually survived the end of the Inquisitorius and got enhanced with Nightsister magic by Morgan Elsbeth similar to what Mother Tazin did for Savage Opress.

I think the inquisitiors were like the perfect characters to be invented. Like 1) you can have an unlimited amount and just add a new number 2) kinda like how they did with the grand inquisitior, they can just be like “hey this one background character from the clone wars this is them now” and 3) it doesn’t disrupt any lore. You have dark side force wielders to fight jedi pre a new hope, without it just being darth Vader or Palpatine

You forgot at least 3: the third brother which was referenced in like one book, the unidentified inquisitor who maul killed to make his last lightsaber, and the unidentified inquisitor who’s dead body was found by Qi’ra in an old Jedi temple in her book.

I have an unhealthy obsession with the inquisitors, also wasn't it confirmed the Eighth Brother survived the fall? But he also did die when the sith temple blew up. So he wasn't alive for much longer but I still think it's a cool fact.

I was excited to see Barris Offee deserting the Empire and then convincing Lyn to desert the Empire too since the Empire and Lord Vader were going to kill her for her failure and now I have to wonder, what did happen to Barris Offee and Lyn after Lyn carried Barris Offee out of the cave.
