To make you feel like you're not alone. I went to a concert with friends in uni back in like 2008) and we went to take a picture in front of the tour bus. This guy walks up to us and offers to take our picture. Me having just gotten the new camera he would be taking the picture with threatened to chase him down and pepper spray him if he ran off with it. He took the picture, gave the camera back, we thanked him and we go on our merry way. We get our seats and the guy who took our picture comes out on stage and I shrink in my seat. It's the lead singer for the opening band. To make matters worse I had been listening to his music well before we even bought the concert tickets, but I didn't recognize him. We took a picture with him afterward and he remembered me. Probably one of the most embarrassing moments in my life LOL!!!

I loved hearing these stories. Had a country singer in Nashville take video of my friends and me outside a radio station (waiting for our other friend to finish with a One Direction VIP event inside) asking us about HIS music. We had no idea who he was and I don't listen to country, so I let my friend who does do all the talking. He posted it on his YouTube channel and I was crucified in the comments for being on my phone and "ignoring" a creepy stranger taking video of me without my permission.

How did you find out about the job/get an interview? Interested in being a PA but not sure where to start!

I used to work at the Four Seasons Hotel and often encountered celebs, but I'm like you, they're just people...I've never been star struck.

When I worked in Toronto, I encountered a few celebrities at various jobs and had no clue who they were either. I met NHL players and a coach, sports commentators, Louis Litt from Suits, a few musicians, HGTV host. All very nice people and so normal! They were definitely anonymous with me 🤣

I’m the same way where I don’t know who anyone is in the celebrity world. If I lived out in LA I would be the person to give a celebrity an hour long wait at a restaurant just due to not knowing who it is

My 12 yo son of COURSE is obsessed with Millie BB. It’s so great to hear her and her family were sweet 🥰 I live in Atlanta in the area Stranger Things is filmed and he keeps wanting to audition as an Extra to meet her 😂 my friend and I are MUAs and we have some celebrity stories too. Some good, some AWFUL!

This was interesting! I, myself, have encountered a few unknown artist/celebrities. I use to work at Taco Cabana and one day Raini Rodriguez walked in with her family. She starred in the Disney show called Austin & Ally and the Mall Cop movies. At first glance, I didn't recognize her as I was making tacos in the back lol but then I looked a second time and almost went to go hide in the back 😅 idk why that was my immediate reaction 🤷‍♀️ I didn't get the courage to talk to her. It's just funny because the coworker who took her order at the lobby didn't recognize her 😂 he said, "no wonder she looked familiar 😧"
