I rented one of these for several weeks this spring in France. I think it is a pretty good car and quite practical and very economical. It is well suited for European driving conditions . The one thing I would say though is there are some serious blind spots because of the way the back of the car is designed. The electronic safety devices help you get around that but when you first start driving it and are not used to it it is very strange and u settling.. Unfortunately, for some reason they don't sell the hybrid version here in the US.

I own one and love it! It is my daily driver. Toyota is done making boring cars. Here in the States, we do not get the hybrid version but we get the more powerful 2.0L inline 4. Also here in the States, we get some TRD performance parts right from the dealer such as the TRD Air Intake Kit for more horsepower and torque as well as the TRD Lowering Springs. I have both along with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires which did not come from the dealer but I added later. I am going to be enjoying this car for a long time to come. It is definitely a keeper! Well done Toyota. Well done.

in the view, you move the setting of the front bars to make it look like there is more room, but there isn't. Let them emulate the Peugeot cars and at least place the gas and brake pedals deeper inside so that the driver and the passenger behind the driver have more space and the driver in particular is more comfortable on the seat. In this regard, almost all car companies have failed except Peugeot. in peugeot, everything is arranged correctly, the steering wheel is never positioned slightly to the left compared to the middle of the driver's body and arms or seat, nor are the pedals pulled out for no reason other than that the crash test dummy does not have any fractures on its feet

This is a Toyota that wasn’t designed to be a Toyota. It was originally meant to be a Scion, which is an entry level to Toyota.
