Kyosho for durability, can take a beating for both drifting and high speed. 👍

I've just got back into RC cars, I bought and built a Tamiya TT02D bare chassis (drift spec with motor and bearing upgrade), then I've bought an R35 GTR shell for it. I need to get myself motivated for the paint job though, I keep putting that bit off lol

Sweet! Just ordered a 3racing D5 a few days ago and am in the process of selling my D4 black. The D5 was pretty cheap and I've heard really good things about it.

I feel old having an hpi e10 with aluminum wheel hubs and camber arms for upgrades I'm probably the last awd drifter in my area while my local hobby shop only carries mst and yokomo rwd chassis but nice and informative video

Hey bro super cool vid.. On my Fast and Furious Supra drift I filled the rear diff with hot glue. So many options on locking the diff. I was being cheap. You are correct makes the drift car so much better.

If I may ask, what is the point of locking up the Dif? How does it change the way the car drives?

BTW, your channel seems to be getting a LOT of love lately. Seems like it has been growing about 1k subs each of the last couple of weeks. Keep up the great work man!

When you say you can remove the shoe goo did you mean the she goo or the whole diff so you can run locked or open with a swap of the diff

question before i attempt does locking the rear diff really help for awd drift? (i usually use my tt01 for racing but want to try drifting with it before i get a dedicated rwd chassis due to budget constraints)

Great video! I picked up a Redcat Racing Lightning EPX Drift and been having fun learning to drift 👍🏁

Can’t really drive the 1000 dollar rwd in the street in front of my house (display queen). my 4wd red cat lightning (easier to work on shaft driven version) has seen many hours of drift bashing and parts are dirt cheap even aluminum, I recommend plastic suspension parts for lending and bashing it- they flex more!!!

I dont suppose you know if bathroom rubber sealant is the same as shoe goo? We can't get that over here. Or will I need something that sets a bit harder? Do you also have a link to them drift wheels for the Kyosho? Many thanks

Kyosho all the way. My uncle's got the 1/8th scale Inferno GT with Nosram 28 nitro motor. That thing does 4 wheel drifting on tar with it's sticky tyres no problem. Drivetrain still stock with open diffs...10 years on and still need to break something on it.

Hi there by locking the rear diff with shoe goo does it affect the touring ability? As I will change out the tyres for driving around track occasionally for speed thrill.
