Mastering Tandem RC Drifting: Pro Tips and Techniques!

Thanks to everyone who replied on my post asking who wanted a How to Tandem video. This is my first attempt at anything like this so bear with me. I start out with some hot wheels to demonstrate positioning and some instances that can happen with running a shallow line vs a wide line. After, I go to the track and run some laps with Mac and I try some voice over commentary about what goes through my head when I’m tandem drifting. I hope this video will help some people and I plan to make a follow up video that will probably be a little more in depth once I start to get the hang of the video content creation a little better.

Cool video and really helpful for someone new like me. I'm still getting a feel to how and when to initiate the slide. Certainly the when depends on track surface, but how to initiate is another aspect. So far I initiate the drift with throttle mostly and tap the brake if I hit too much throttle. There is one part of my local track that I've started using the brake to initiate the slide and it seems to let me carry a little more speed without careening into the wall and I'm not spinning out in the next tight sweeper. But yeah a good follow up to this for us newbs would be maybe how you're initiating your slides on this track and what the thinking is behind it👍
