In this video compare the size of the Tartaros Terminator with some other key space marine miniatures. I then show you a very simple conversion to increase the height of the Tartaros. After this I compare the new conversion to the other miniatures to show you the difference.

It is really easy conversion and at the same time it does not change proportions too much - awesome stuff

I used your guide to upscale a box of Tartaros for my mainly Primaris Ultramarine army. It worked perfectly and they look great next to their newer counterparts, thanks!

Another great comparison! Always look forward to your videos.
I normally increase the base height by adding a piece of sprue under the feet. After that, I add the air dry clay or white glue the gravel or sand in such a way as to keep the model from looking like it is sunk into the ground.
Lengthening the torso is a great way to add height, as well. I'm hoping my Tartaros Terminators come apart at the waist, so I can also go that route.
Thanks and cheers!

Simple but effective, I love it! Will definitely do this when I eventually get around to doing them

Great conversion!

I never creating any additional base-height for my minis, however, I often add 0, 5-1 mm to foot soles of my terminator (only Indomitus ATM), it helps a lot too!

However, your instruction for torso is perfect to create the army, it is very easy and gives great result!

Did an Iron hands Gorgon Terminator using tartaros as a base a few weeks ago but went about upscaleing it in a pretty differn't way.
Arms came from an indomitus termie kit (the "normal" ones), but bulked out with 1mm plasticard on the shoulder bit to add width), added 1.5mm plasticard on the waist, with the joint hidden with tubes and other iron hands looking bits. And finally some 1.5 on the boots. Storm bolter came from a space marine tank since they're bigger, and I couldan't get hold of a Tartaros one, but wanted an older looking bolter (with two barrels instead of the modern mono double one). I also used a leviathan dreadnaught head for the head, since Gorgon heads are unique, looks decent, wish i could share images without youtube filtering it as spam ;w;

I like my termies to be massive, about a head taller than Primaris since termies are pretty big in the art. Makes them really stand out alongside other models as the big imposing eletes they are.

Only a one off, but what you did is easier, and looks great for the work :)
You might consider pinning on the waist btw, can give you waaaay more control over the depth and angle

Another Fantastic truescale brother. You Always know how to make this easy and they look very cool 👍

I did the putty trick in between the legs and torso with my grey Knight terminators and regular grey knights ensure it did make them look a little taller than they really were especially in the torso area put some humans are like that so I let it slide because I mean you've got some people who have really long backs and other people who have really long legs compared to their slightly shorter torso. But simple conversion easy to follow really helpful

Great stuff looks really good! I’m using your miliput idea now to base some some firstborn marines I’m making out of parts from HH mk6 with 40k tactical squad parts and also space marine heroes models to achieve a primaris size marine. Cheers mate hope you’re doing good!

Very nice and simple! Want to make myself some firedrake assault termies for my salamanders but i didnt like how small the tartaros termies looked. Definetly thinking about it now

Nice simple build, and it didn't need any extra kits! I've seen some folk use air dry clay to bulk out bases, might be a bit cheaper if you're doing this for a lot of models than to use pure miliput for everything 😄

FANTASTIC VIDEO!
Tartaros is my favorite pattern of Terminator Armor (And MKIII my favorite Space Marine armor) and I am considering putting together an army of about 20 of them for 10th edition. I don't like how short they are though and your techniques are easy enough that I can do all 20 even with my limited skills.

I'd go for it with even mk3s as in the lore they describe terminators being at least 3Ms/12ft tall so that's a 4ft/over a meter height difference.

Tartaros is a great way to save money on buying terminators and these height-hacks really help to primaris-ize these to proper proportion. It seemslike just the center section puts them at Leviathan-height termis or no?

I'm also curious, how do the wolf guard or dark angels bits fit on tartaros termis?

Would this work with the Cataphractii Terminators as well?

I'm just discovering this now, and honestly it's amazing how simple yet immediately noticeable the effects are.

I have to ask, do you think this could work with Cataphractii Terminators as well?

Wonder if this works for the Scarab Occult terminators, they are technically Tartaros as well.
