Literally stopped the video at 2mins, logged onto my PayPal and cancelled all my monthly subscriptions - I was spending $75 a month on services I either never realised I used or used once in a while. Great tip 👍

I was able to save $200 a month by simply making my coffee at home☕️ I was buying 2 to 3 cup a day😋

Excellent presentation. I've been doing All for over 6yrs now. I have a 850 credit score, debt free ( exception for Mortgage, the good debt) and on my to early retirement in my 50's. 🙏🏾👍🏾✅✨🤗🖇

One way that has really helped me save is doing grocery pickup. It makes meal prep easier and I avoid going in to the store and grabbing unnecessary items 😊

Instead of wasting money on ordering coffee out and eating out a lot, and buying stuff we don’t really need when our grandchildren were born we opened a 529 plan and put that extra money we had in there for their college someday. They are now in college and are so thankful we can help pay for it. It brings us more joy knowing they will be debt free when they graduate instead of them getting the money when we pass away in the future.

I paid off my debt by depositing more than the minimum as you have said. It really helps.

Very helpful hints, and when you buy groceries in bulk, check the expiry date. This is very important.

I’m old school-every time I get paid, I drive straight to the bank, I take out my savings money in cash and place it in an envelope.
I noticed if I tried to save electronically, I’d transfer the money from savings almost every time. This way, if I’m going through my busy work day, I can’t spend it because I can’t leave work to drive all the way home to get the cash.

I enjoyed your talk about saving money. Some of the ways that I save money is that I cook most of my meals, color my hair instead of going to a salon, I stopped getting my nails done professionally and do them at home. These are just a few of the many ways that I have been able to save money.

Great advice!!! New sub here! Oftentimes, I try to buy a large pack of meat and use it for multiple meals. So instead of buying one lb of ground beef at $4.99, I will buy 5 lbs of ground beef on sale for $13. Five one lb packs of ground beef will cost me ~$25, so I save $12. I also substitute higher cuts of meats for cheaper cuts. So for fajitas I may use boneless, skinless thighs vs chicken breasts, unless it's on sale. Legs and thighs are often on sale for $.99/lb in my area. I only but meats that are on sale for the week.

I love thrift shopping and I shop online on SHEIN which is cheaper than regular stores. But I need to stop buying clothes every month. Also I would love to start couponing.

I do a biweekly mortgage. This helps with adding an extra payment at the end of year since there are two months that we get paid three times.

I’ve started doing pick up services at stores, that way I’m not distracted. I stay focused and not doing any Impulse buying. It helps.

I've cancelled a number of subscriptions and I feel like a burden has been lifted. Cash makes you think twice about spending and is the way to go. Great tips!

Having a realistic budget, Tracking my expenses, setting a strict spending ceiling monthly. But this works for me because I already have a short term emergency fund and a long term (ie 6 months of expense) emergency fund. This are key principles I believe in sharing at Good Eve Financial Literacy. I am just starting out, and hope my videos can look as beautiful as Bola's one day soon!

Great tips. I am in the process of selling my house and moving to a cheaper area. I use to pay by cash but when the pandemic hit, I went contactless. Maybe I will think about going back to cash as it definitely saved me money. I also need to make more effort to meal plan. Love your videos they are really inspirational and helpful.

Autopay my utilities whenever I can. For the rest, I use a monthly calendar with due dates. On the calendar, I put down pay dates before due dates.
