浮雲

The opponent sitting next to you tries to grab the handle of your katana. You dodge that and swing the handle toward the opponent to prevent him from drawing. You draw the katana against his chest and push him down against the floor.

Depending on whether you step on the kimono’s sleeve or the armor’s shoulder protection, the way you perform this Kata is different. Seki sensei earlier performed the version of stepping on the kimono sleeve.

Interesting, saw many variations of this Kata. But this is the first time seeing the push like this. My Sensei taught me to apply force by "cutting" the enemy down, by slide my left hand to the Tsuba. Its hard to describe it with words.

Good camera shots and editing! The foot work in this video is well showcased. Intricate, yet elegantly simple.

Cutting the pectoral muscles and also getting to his sword hand is a good way to to break enemy morale let’s just say. It’s not a kill shot, but it will definitely re-think about grabbing your sword.

Such a beautiful style, such gracefulness in executing the technique, I already realized he's aiming at the head when striking because that's a full swing cut to decapitate.

Shogo San world be possible when the sensei is swinging his body sideways is in order to strike the face of the opponent with the handle while swinging sideways? While stepping on the kimono shoulder is the opponent tries to stroke again I'm sure sensei will have a way to counter while the opponent is in already on the floor because he had cut through the chest.
