I think that the possum is her brother. It reacted to her voice as it heard it from the walkie talkie and even tried to say her name. It seems the masked woman's name is Joanne and Kate was talking about her in that tape. She probably thought Joanne was killed by the monster and blame herself for this.

Kate's voice actress acted the living hell outta that cassette. Wow

So, fun fact in the first two tapes where it’s only Amanda there’s no hamlen at the end of the tapes but as soon WOOLY appears the hameln outro thing appears at the end. And we all know that Hameln are the bad guys so maybe they made wooly to keep Rebecca/amanda on track to make silly kid cartoons

Would also explain the sheep wolf thing at the end

Her brother was the possum because at 14:43 he was trying to say Joanne but he wasn't able to say her name because of him being a possum and can say that.

With how brutal the sheep demon was compared to the Amanda demon, it's safe to say they're seperate entities.
Honestly I don't think Wooly is a trapped child, I think he's with the cult

That ending gave me the chills, just hearing what is happening and only getting a glimpse of it before the game ends and hearing it go at her still in credits is genuinely terrifying

When the possum was screaming “Jo…Jo…Jo…” the possum was likely trying to say Joanne. It is hypothesized that the possum could be Jordan. As for your question on whether or not there is more than one demon, it is possible that there could be, as when you give the Amanda demon the Wooly plushie (spoiler alert) the Amanda demon hears a roar and becomes terrified, likely hinting that there are in fact multiple demons existing in the tapes. And said roar could possibly be the Wooly demon we saw at the end.

Remember last episode when Amada ripped the Wooly plushie apart? We could hear a second roar in the distance and the Amanda Demon running towards it. I think we found out what that was.

There might be 3 demons. In the 1st game, the tape where Rebecca is being used to test the "voice reaction", she paraphrases 3 demons: (Pie man) Piamon, (Baa Lamb) Balam, (Bye Yell) Belial.

That damage tape when all the Amanda's were crying and Wooly looming in the background makes a lot of sense now and around the tape where Riley was telling Amanda a story, Wooly's eyes changed when demon Amanda appears. I don't think that's just for the horror factor. Amanda doesn't like Wooly because he's probably a way to keep her in check, hence why he was gone in some of the first tapes, that would probably the only Amanda could actually communicate without no restraints. She also seems so irritated when Wooly shows up and when he suggests supervision, maybe Amanda doesn't like authority or adults in this case because of her experience when she was Rebecca.

In the first game, there is a lore tape where Sam records a voice test given to Rebecca by Hameln, and during this she is tricked into invoking the names of three demonic entities. Balam, Paimon, and Bael.

Given that she specifically called out three names, it would make sense that more than one demon is contained within these tapes.

Paimon is ofted depicted as a feminine male figure. This is a nice parallel to Amanda who is a tomboyish girl.

One of Balam's most common depictions is that of a ram, which very closely resembles a sheep AKA Wooly.

Bael is an interesting case as he has three common forms, those being a man, a cat, and a toad.

Throughout both games, I've noticed a pattern of the Butcher showing up at random times in each tapes. He even talks directly to Riley in one of the tapes from this game.

I've also noticed that in both games, there is one tape in which Amanda interacts with a cat. In the first game, Amanda finds a stray kitten and asks Riley if she'll care for it. In the second game, a cat attacks one of the birds in Amanda's birdhouse and feeds its remains to her kittens.

Based on their common depictions throughout history, I feel it's safe to assume Balam is Wooly, Paimon is Amanda, and Bael is both the Butcher and the two cats.

In the green tape the doctor talked about the part of the brain called the amygdala, which controls emotional responses, especially fear, anxiety, and rage. It also controls memory, decision-making, conditioning.

I think jordan is the possum because the possum said in the tapes "JOH, JOH, JOH!" Like trying to say his sisters name in the tape and calling out to her.

I got a little theory hear me out when yesterday we picked out the right choices from the story. We heard a proper narrator and Amanda got calm and like the story maybe the voice reminds her of her dad.
