Dr Ramani thank you for making me feel less stupid and guilty for falling for a narcissist more than once. 🙏🏼

They are "Wolf with you and sheep with everyone else" yes that's exactly how they operate and that's why it's also difficult for others to see that they are the abuser.

Super nice to everyone in public, but super toxic behind close doors. 🤮

It’s true. It is so isolating when the narcissist is a wolf with you in private, but a sheep with everyone else. And the hard part is that those who see him or her as a sheep get angry or offended at you for pointing out something wrong with the narcissist. Even the narcissist turns around to make you the problem simply for pointing out their problem.

So charming, so well-educated, so kind, so charismatic, so good at using words in public and during the love bombing phase. So exhausted, so dismissive, so making fun of your needs, so intoleran out of nothing as soon as nobody can't see him or the love bombing phase is over.
And he was my best friend, before being my partner. That's kind of the most disgusting thing I've been through.

"Watch how they treat other people & how you feel in their presence." Yes, absolutely! The red flags appear early in the game. And it most certainly is a game to them. Listen to your intuition when it tells you that something is "off". Trust your gut. And then get out.✌

Nowadays a lot of narcissists parade around with a 'spiritual' facade.
They would look like the most peaceful spiritual person. And this gives others a strong first impression.

“Don’t cast your pearls before swine”. Is one of my favorite proverb that may apply to narcs.

Nature has already given us all a superpower called "intuition", just to protect us. Never ignore it.

People let their guard down. They accept what’s shown and take it at face value. It isn’t until after someone’s been hurt or something has happened to them where they begin to use discernment in the future. I believe we should be taught and informed of these things as children. Not that we can escape every situation however it’s better than suffering and learning after the fact because the scars don’t ever go away. The worst part about it is, when your parents are narcissists or narcissistic, how can the child ever learn to protect themselves? So sad how the wolf in sheep’s clothing can even be the people who brought you into the world.. But this is extremely accurate as I’ve seen it in the religion I was apart of. I met my ex husband in that same religion.. 12 years later, here am I. Crazy isn’t it? 😅 I know so many people like this and the hide behind the religion or spiritual beliefs knowing those “beliefs” don’t penetrate their hearts. It’s just another way of getting more victims.

Just give it time and every narc will shed their cloak, especially if you don't go along with their program.

Me and my kids call their dad the actor.. He was one person for us. And somebody else for everybody else.

”Don’t judge the book by its cover” is so often used about people with unimpressive appearance. Unfortunately not as often the other way around.

The red flags! A wolf with you and a sheep with everyone else, that spoke to my soul!

Looking back I saw so many red flags and I ignored them. But now I’m scared that I’m going to be overly cautious if I ever met anybody else. Not that I’mlooking. I feel like I’m better alone the rest of my life.

This is why it’s so important to “test the spirits“…(1 John 4:1)...Test the spirit behind what they do and say by asking questions and watching them with others. They will even sometimes misuse scripture to fit their agenda/needs. The longer you observe them, the more you see it was all a front.

My narcissist took my sister and I in after our parents died.

She was a "Christian" and everyone praised her seemingly wherever we went telling her how awesome she was for taking in the "orphans."

She'd laugh a sheepish, pleasant laugh and say she was just a humble servant of God or some bull.

Behind closed doors she was not a Christian but possessed by rage. She would scream all the time saying, "Amanda i didn't have to take you in after your parents died!"
