9 Years Later. I'm no longer playing Dota competitively.

My new MMR is my Work, Business and earning Money irl. Thank you Dota for being part of my childhood. I am thankful I am able to to play instead of doing drugs and was able to shape my life. you are a real G.

I have no idea how i came across this site and movie. I am a father of two teenagers who love I their consoles, phones and tablets. But the guys in this movie are not addicted but so motivated it purely amazes me. Great movie that opens your eyes to the gaming world. Beats my monotonous job.

I loved that line from Dendi's mom, where she mentioned that he was actually very patient and could just sit there for hours and fish. The irony that Dendi was often called out because of his impatience in games. It tells you how powerful of an impact his father had on him.

After 10 years. Dendi was named as the face of dota 💪

As a Singaporean male in his late 20s, I completely relate to hyhy's story. Our parents went through a really hard life and believed that studies were the only way out for a better life. They saw that doctors and lawyers were the only ones doing well and naturally, doing anything else was a waste of time. Can't blame them for having this mindset and lets hope that we will be more open-minded to the opportunities future generations have

Inspiring, excellently paced and ties together the stories of 3 players extremely well with a satisfying and tear-jerking conclusion. A must watch for anyone regardless of whether or not they like or play DOTA. Pretty much a benchmark that other eSports documentaries will be judged by.

Gaming is like football: you hear about the 5% who succeeded, but not about the 95% who wasted their lives, education and job.

I can still see the pain in HyHy's eyes. No one is supporting him and the only who supports him abandoned him :(

Fear in 2013 before his teammates left him to join Secret, the wrist injury that put him into retirement and EG were a walking joke: "I mean, deep down inside, I know this career is going to work out for me in the end."
2015 he wins TI5.

Simply amazing. To those who are complaining that this is just a commercial for DOTA 2, you clearly didn't watch it properly. This video highlights the struggles of pro gamers and shows how E Sports as a whole has grew massively.

Yeah the game that's used to show these issues and accomplishments is DOTA, but why shouldn't it be? It's made by Valve!

after all these years i still think if hyhy just had a little bit more emotional support from his' parents things could have gone way different.

I think I have watched this video for more than 10 times, but for real, I never get bored on it. I literally learn something from this video to work hard and never give up on your passion, even if you don't get anything in the end. I'm not a professional gamer, I'm just a casual gamer who has a job everyday.

I will achieve my goals, whatever it takes.
