Anakin's Kyber Crystals Would Make A Balanced Lightsaber - Star Wars #Shorts

After The Last Jedi, I was convinced Rey would combine Anakin's Jedi kyber crystal with Vader's Sith crystal to create the "perfectly balanced" dual-bladed lightsaber. Then in The Rise of Skywalker she simply restored her saber off-screen with a leather strap.

Is it too late for the Chosen One saber to exist? I don’t think so.

His Jedi crystal is buried in the sand of the Lars homestead on Tatooine. The whereabouts of his Sith crystal is still currently unknown. In the Aftermath novels, a group of Sith cultists known as the Acolytes of the Beyond bought a lightsaber from a junker who claimed it was Vader's. This was never confirmed to be Vader's lightsaber, and it's possible the Sith Lord’s saber lies in the rubble of the second Death Star on Kef Bir.

Anakin’s united crystals in a single saber could become a powerful Force relic - if only Lucasfilm and Disney would make this happen.

You lost me when you called it Rey's lightsaber, that is the Skywalker Family Lightsaber (or Youngling Slayer 9000 if you want to use it's street name) and Rey is not and never will be a Skywalker.

I saw a video somewhere that Rey shouldn’t have buried Anakin and Luke’s lightsabers on Tatooine (a planet they both hated) but should have placed them in with Padme in her tomb on Naboo so that they can finally rest together… had me tear up a bit

Alternate theory, anakin/Vader comes back from the dead, reunites his red and blue crystal to make a purple saber, just so he can flex on mace windu one more time before he dies again for not letting him on the council
