theres another change heavily affecting all tnt cannons wich is entity creation. up to 1.14 it was a simple list ordered by creation time now its basically random aswell. afaik this effects your tnt setup aswell

Sometimes it feels like Mojang watches your channel and the things you're doing on the SciCraft server and going "NOT ENOUGH MINING AND CRAFTING! STOP FARMING AND GO DIG WITH PICKS! And then they "fix" things that have no business being "fixed"

Probably hard to keep in some important technical features if they are an original side effect of some other code. I doubt developers are as aware of these nuances as scicrafters

Honestly I think a good number of these little bugs-turned-features in the game like non-player chunkloading should be toggleable via gamerule or something. I think it's super cool that all the stuff SciCraft does is possible at all, but for most other servers these things have to be patched out because the average user doesn't care about how efficient their builds are in terms of server resources and the game as a whole is just laggier at the moment than it has been in the past. My small server which ran at a smooth 18-20 TPS in 1.12.2 with 10-20 players on struggles to hit half that now with half the players. The only changes made are the mob cap being reduced (for some reason I had it at nearly double vanilla) and an update to 1.13.2. Still waiting on that that performance-only update.
Also, breaking consistency in game physics is dumb. Mojang, please.

I really wish you or one of the Scicraft members had the ability to work on the game directly. When the players have objectively better ideas than the developers, that's a problem.

Why do Mojang currently break a lot of things in Minecraft, such as powerful farms, loved features... They ruin a lot of redstone stuff. I hope they will revert back some ridiculous changes but I doubt on some of them.
Edit: Especially when I have updated my world to 1.13, one of my favorite farms, the crop farm (where it produces carrots, potatoes, bread and beetroots), using villagers is broken. Before that update, I use a lot of my carrots and potatoes for loads and loads of emeralds, whereas beetroots I use them to make red dyes. R.I.P. Super efficient crop farm. You'll be missed. :, (

Why does Xcom not work at Mojang yet? He's done as much work and direct contribution to the game as many other people at Mojang and definitely has a much better idea of what players actually want. At this point he wouldn't even have to go through training were he hired because he's spent so much time examining the code.

What is up with Mojang just blatantly removing mechanics from the game?
It's a sandbox game with a visual building and technical building community and they're just killing the technical community for no good reason

I noticed a bug on Bedrocks official release in which TNT Cannons would not function, TNT would send no momentum into entities

I really hope they fix this and maybe give enderpearls the ability to load chunks.

It sounds like they switched the entity collection from a list to some kind of hashmap. Probably for performance. To bring the determinism back, they could make it an ordered hash map instead.

There's a pretty big change for tnt canons too...

TNT blocks are calculated different.
In the 1.12 tnt first goes up and then to the sides and to the front.
But In the 1.14 the tnt first goes to the front

I have been thinking about yoir auto crafting video and came up with a similar concept for sand generation without duping. Its only the start of an idea, but perhaps others can think with me:

What if cobbelstone no longer directly generates from water and lava but instead cobblestone with some looze grains. These grains could be eroded by moving water streams which could later be deposited and collected as sand blocks. After the erosion process the cobbelstone changes from grain rich stone to normal cobbelstone
