I still feel a bit weird putting this on the internet, but I've had lots of requests, so here's my birth story! Lachlan was born 4 weeks early and it's a bit of a crazy story (all ends well!).

You are my absolute favorite influencer and I’m so happy you shared this. I too had an unmedicated 2 hour birth (not by choice) with my 3rd son and it left such an imprint on me… it helps to open this dialogue so thank you for being so relatable! ❤️

I love and appreciate your honesty! I am currently 29 weeks. I feel like I’ve done zero research and low key feel like I just need to go with the flow?! Idk. Anyway, your video was refreshing :) congrats on your little one! Can’t wait to meet mine soon!

Wow 😯 2 hours and no epidural!! Jill you’re are so strong!! My water broke first too, but I was 40 + 1 and my contractions started right after and went from 0-100% as well but I wasn’t dilating so I had time for the epidural and it ended up being 20 hrs until my son, Knox, was born vaginally. Labor really is the craziest thing that women can do!! I’m so glad you and your babe were safe and healthy! Thanks for sharing your story XO 😘

My boys are 16, 14, and 12 and I still love hearing birth stories ❤️ it's such a wild ride! I can relate so much....it felt foreign for me too when my boys were first born too....tbh you can only prepare so much for these types of things, it never goes as planned anyways lol you look amazing Jill 😘😘

Two hour labor!! 🙌🏻 Serendipity that Doc Andrew was on his way home and Mom was in the neighborhood. Ignore all the age-related labels and BS. My mama had me at 39, so there. You do you. xo

I just turned 31 and constantly feel pressure to hurry up and have kids before I hit 35. I feel like as women we don't talk about this enough! And yes, why on earth is it called a geriatric pregnancy! Thanks for the video and for sharing your story.

Just had my baby 2 months ago. My water broke at 39 weeks and I wish my labor was only two hours! I went 9 hours until he was born, which I still consider fast for my first birth.

My daughter is 27 now, and my water broke when I was walking in Zellers which was funny because one of our exercises in prenatal classes was to say what our biggest fear was, and mine was my water breaking in public! Lol! She came very quickly and I had experienced a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions throughout my pregnancy, so didn’t realize I was in labour all day. I had time for an epidural with her but when my son came two years later, he was born in an hour and a half so no time for one and I didn’t want any gas. Crazy!!

I’m 36 and expecting my baby (I got pregnant at 35), I asked joking to my midwife if I was a geriatric pregnancy, she laughed incredibly hard and said that was a horrible term she hoped they removed but at least it had been moved (in the UK where I’m based) to 40 as they realised that most women where getting pregnant in their mid to late 30s and it seemed to be all “good” she then rolled her eyes and said “of course it’s all good as far as the woman is healthy also the ladies I get in their 30s give me less problems!!” Don’t worry too much about your age is the bottom line my midwife wanted to convey.

Congrats on your baby boy. The absurdity of someone asking "did you wear a mask?" to give birth absolutely boggles my mind.
