WTF is up with the comments on this video. Like she says in the opening, she reviews cars for moms and families. She never says anything about for rich or poor moms/families. Just because you can’t afford this car doesn’t mean she shouldn’t make the video. How about you people just pass then if you know you can’t afford the car she’s reviewing?! Anyways, good work Kelley. Keep up the work.

I just got my 2024 X7 M60i this month. It’s my favorite car I’ve ever driven. It just feels luxurious sitting in it, and drives incredibly! The only part I don’t love is the third row access/ability to put flat with car seats in the second row captains chairs. Ultimate mom car, and my toddlers love it!

For anyone reading! You can pull the middle row center seat down completely and create captains chairs, so third row access is easier without using any side seat tilts :) and I have 3 car seats in a row in the middle seat and it works perfectly. Best car :)

I own a 2019 X7 50i, and I love it. I have 3-1/2 and 2 yo. I have my 2 yo car seat set up right behind the driver seat and 3-1/2 yo on the passenger side of the 3rd row. We did a road trip with my mom so she could sit right behind the passenger seat. We flatted driver side 3rd row so we can keep all our belongings. We took two umbrella strollers, two small size suit cases, and two extra small travel bags. We also paked winter jakets and etc. under trunk storage. Nalgene water bottle fits on the door, which it does not fit in X5. Overall, three adults and two toddlers can sit very comfortably. I would upgrade to another X7 for sure.

My husband said I can’t get a Defender 130 until you review it. So pleeeease do that next! 🙏🏼

Beautiful X7, but I need hard buttons for the basic controls. We should NEVER be asked to search on a screen for climate, audio and safety features. The previous year ('23) had the right mix of hardware and software. It just needed modernization.

As a car guy, I like the preface lift a bit more in terms of styling and interior dash design. Will miss the gear shifter.

Thank you for doing this video. You convinced me as a Dad of 4 small kids with a Yukon XL not to go into an X7 at all. We would be way too cramped. But I would love it for 2-3 middle aged kids and sports practices. Any more I think won’t work. Thanks!

You can put two car seats in the front and two in the back. If it is two older children on boosters in the third row they go there. Another two in the 2nd row. They enter the side with the smaller seat by pressing the <> button and move it as far forward as you can and let go the seat will stop there. Enough room for children to climb to the back.

Awsome review as usual. I honestly watch ALL your tours even if the car you're reviewing isn't on my list, just to see you do your thing. I like that the x7 has vents on the door panels and not just at your knees. If it's not gonna be in the ceiling at least put them there. And I do love that it's only two seats at the back. Don't like the awkward look of the headlights though. Anyway keep up the good work 👍🏾

I have this car and had the previous model beforehand. Could not agree more with you about the climate control system. Took me about 2 months of driving to get used to it. I will say the split air vents are not my fave and I hope they change them in the next iteration. It takes me so long to find the smallest tweak of the handle to get the airflow to my face. Other than that the car is incredible and I love all the other updates they added!

Can't wait for your review of the grand highlander. Would love to compare the 7x and the grand highlander. We will soon need to put 2 rear facing and 1 front facing car seat in vehicle in addition to the ability to take my 80 year old mother with us without having to remove the car seats.

Good review as always! Love the interior of recent BMWs, and the quality is amazing, I recently test drove both new X7 and GLS, I prefer X7 over GLS by a mile! Eventually we bought the X7, still hate the front though😂, love to hear your view is exactly the same as my wife’s, she also loves this new X7, particularly the massive screen.

Yeah, the inability to fit 3 car seats across the bench (and hurray for you wanting a 2nd-row bench seat - in most of the vehicles I'm looking at, you can't even get a bench seat on the highest trims!) is why we bought a Suburban back in 2001 when our 3 kids were at that age.

You can press the button on the tailgate to make it go up instead of closing it manually. Great video!

Not a fan of the AC only accessible from the touch screen. 😢 I prefer the actual buttons, it makes it much easier for me and my passenger to adjust the temp to their comfort. Looks great but can cause a lot of distractions when driving.

Thanks for your review. The thing I worry about with regards to the big one-screen setup (MID & infotainment screen run together to look like one) is that there is no cowling and I worry about reflections. Did you have *any* issues with reflections/glare/anything at all to do with the naked screen(s)? Thanks again!

How did you feel about the overall legroom? IMO the X7 would feel quite cramped on long trips especially for 5+ people based off my previous experience sitting in them (which would def be a dealbreaker especially for a car of this size). Other than that however, I think it’s def the benchmark of 3-row SUVs (especially the V8 ones but the 40i is still awesome).
