I am Croatian and I am obviously for Croatia. But in addition, Croatia have been fightiing getting 2nd in the nations league and third in the 2022 world cup. I see this as being a revenge tournament with us coming on top to finally get that 1st place gold

France, England and Portugal in that order are the main contenders. When your heart is with the book maker's favourite, as is my case, meaning France, you mainly spend your time worrying that they will disappoint the way they did in the first half of the world cup. You pray that they will play like in the second half of that world cup where they came so close to winning.
They aren't better than England on paper but they have a more offensive spirit. They aren't as dependent on Mpabbe performance as the Portuguese on Ronaldo ( what a phenomenon that man is!) - it's a rather more subtle emulation thing going on: allthe French players want to perform at Mbappe level. We call them the Mbappe generation ( with a few remarkable " old timers") and they are younger ( an athletic advantage but a lack of experience for the big competitions) than most teams on average so they have something to prove, which can be an asset. As we watch them play, clearly there is a very good team spirit. A dream team. But winning always has that magical element that England never seems to get, that France sometimes does and sometimes doesn't- so we fear the beast Ronaldo leading Portugal ... and the joker who catches you off guard. i think your prediction is absolutley right. france goes into every tournament expecting to be champions which is rightfully so since they know they are the best team in the world right now. and i also agree with u as for serbia being the dark horses. vlahovic, mitrovic, tadic, and savic is such a scary attacking front.

They are at home, they are specialists in growing in a tournament while not always being impressive in the qualifiers, their fans will back them like crazy, they have a great coach that can get some football in them (2022 they were unlucky against Japan and Costa Rica they were amazing just a few counters broke them), they know how to play ball.
