Props to the both of you on making your channel and posting a lot of helpful builds, iv been building and boosting honda engines since d to b series and now the K, and i can say that these videos are really helpful specially to the ones that are just starting out to either swap or build their engines. I wish we had these type of videos back in the day but we had HT which really helped a lot also. Anyway good luck on both of you and more horse power.

Turned my A3 into an A2 for 800$.
Head/cam swap with A2 block. Boom done 220whp

It's very interesting what you're doing and I am happy to say that you were showing it to the public. I have a few questions if anyone could answer them and be helpful.If the engine was turn 90° so it could be a rear drive car what five or six gear manual transmission could be used. I'm trying to get economy out of the car with the k20a 3 engine and make it more economically. Thanks for any help Moses

The starter is beefier for the a2 because of the higher compression. Probably won’t cause a short term issue but it will be over working the a3 starter.

The flywheel gearing should be the same between the two. I’d use the a2 starter if you have it because they are a pain to change when the motor is in the car

How did the swap work out with the a3 engine harness plan on doing this swap myself done the road also plan on using 5speed transmission like you guys did I just bought brand new clutch and flywheel am I able to use that with the a2

Was there any issues with using the a3 wiring harness on a2 I found a2 forsale with no harness I no I will need to get a2 ecu but is there any plugs missing on a3 harness for a2 vtec since the heads are diffrent??

Question can i swap the head internals of an a2 to an a3 bare head? Basically is the a2 bare head the same as an a3?
