The National Center for Intensive Intervention (NCII) along with Pam Stecker (Clemson University) and Devin Kearns (University of Connecticut) will be presenting on Using Data-Based Individualization for Students with Reading Difficulties. In this session, participants will learn about an evidence-based process for delivering interventions to students with reading difficulties (e.g., dyslexia or students with reading disorders). Join the South Carolina Department of Education Officer of Special Education as they welcome Dr. Pamela Stecker from Clemson University and Dr. Devin Kearns from the University of Connecticut as they explore: the data-based individualization (DBI) process; the role of assessment in providing instruction and intervention to students with reading difficulties; and resources for both face-to-face and virtual intervention delivery.
