Riot Games seems to be target banning streamers over at Korea right now. Dantes, YamatosDeath, AloisNL, Sinerias are among those hit, but why exactly are they target banning them, and are they deserving of the ban from Riot Games Korea?

So apparently Naayil doesn't have a Riot account, which means that maybe most of these guys are just being locked out because Riot Korea knows they don't have Riot accounts, thus account sharing by wrong identity. Still doesn't explain why Riot accounts are also getting locked though, hard to know from our POV 🤔

It's hilarious that the Korean community is so unbelievably toxic, yet perma ban an entire community of players because of nationality. Korean solo-queue is one of the most crybaby infested places on earth, as one misplay can cause a player to perma-inta that, and any other game you play with them, with some people getting doxxed for having a bad game. TF blade is toxic (in a way that isn't even that bad because he seems to keep it about things in-game) and anyone of certian nationalities get banned, yet players and insiders at Riot Korea are being openly racist and its entirely fine. Like, watch one of the bootcampers streams and the amount of toxic sewage and open racism being thrown out by Korean players is shocking, especially if you're like me and this is the first one of these you've payed attention to.

as a polish, rybson did get banned at the same time as everyone else, but he didnt close league of legends client for few days, computer was 24/7 on as well as league client, and then when he closed it because he had some interface troubles he realised he is indeed banned

what yamato said makes so much sense, compared to former seasons which streams had to try so hard to even get close to challenger, recently korean server has become so easy that most of the streamers get high ladder ranks in a few days! I guess they are just target banning them to take the attentions away from the current state of Korean server

It's not because they're "account sharing" it's because someone's petty. He has a friend who works for riot KR. Cause TF blade was being toxic that simple. TF blade has to be permabanned already give him the T1 treatment

In korea, your account is linked to your social security number. That is why everyone is only allowed to have ONE account. In alois case, he got a riot account, but he played with an illegal account before.
I find it understandable from riot that these streamers were banned.
is strange that the EU streamers who have all taken care of riot accounts have no problems.

Legitimately, Koreans are worried that their games will be seen by Eu and US viewers. Also an EU or NA being rank 1 would be a massive upset for the Koreans. They wont let it happen.
