Dude you have no idea how helpful this video is. I went down the exact same purchase path with the idefender and wasn't satisfied. You are the first person I've seen to identify this problem. I have a electric guitar plugged in to audio interface to a laptop. When laptop power is plugged in, there is so much noise from the interface output. If i remove the laptop power plug, the noise is completely gone. Can a passive DI box with ground lift be used between guitar and audio interface? Will this work or idefender on the audio interface connection will work? Please help

Some great piano playing. Too bad you completely failed to tell us what a DI box is, what it is used for, you connect what cables to where, and what the difference between a passive and active DI box is.
