I don't have a book club, so your channel is like hearing the thoughts of a friend. I am not a person of faith but your belief is warm & wonderful. Thank you for being here x

This episode made me cry multiple times. Wow. I never knew that Grampie asked Mama to consider the name Cheere. It’s such a bitter sweet story I can’t handle it!! Please do more of these!!! I loved it!

The difference with your Royal commentary is that it comes from books, not from gossip or headlines, which is refreshing. I've commented before how enjoyable it is for me to be read to. It's comforting in its own right. Your story of your mom and your relationship with God was touching and warm, and deeply moving. How your name came to be was also moving. Thank you for being so open and exposing some raw emotions. That took courage. I've always been a fan of you and your channel, now I'm even more so. Thank you for being you. 🙂❤️

I have absolutely adored you from the start! Not religious, but I respect you and your values completely. Your Spare and Revenge reviews helped me spend hours at my mom's bedside when she had a very serious operation and complicated recovery. I ended up caring for her for 3 months and you gave me something to look forward to and to giggle about through that time. She is now a huge, huge fan as well and we enjoyed the Traitor King series together when we went on holiday together 😊 Cheere Denise, you are a gift that keeps on giving❤ Love you, thank you!!!

Hello Cheere. I’m
one of your ‘silent’ subscribers, but wow. What a privilege to hear what you shared. I listen to you as a an old time Literature graduate, teacher and now therapist. I LOVE how funny you are with your reviews / analysis of books - as well as philosophical and spiritual. I too became very emotional hearing you express all that love and missing of your mum. She flows through you, and from you, to us. x

Your description of events in your life kindle memories and longing for your mom reminded me of how my father's death when I was 15 affected me. He never knew my husband and my husband has often said he wished he could have known my dad. My husband's parents would have really liked him, and he would have been crazy about my kids. He was a geologist and I taught geology (and history). I am 76 now and I have tears in my eyes as I write this. Be sure to tell your kids all about your mom and how special she was. They need to know.

Wow wow wow! What an utterly beautiful story. SO sorry for the
Loss of your mom.🥲I have children your age, Itoo homeschooled them and am a Christian. Cheere, I KNOW how proud and fulfilled your mom would be with your beautiful character as well as your intellect. You are a superb human and I can't tell how much I enjoyed this foray into your life. Dare I say, Iproud of you 💕😮

I got goosebumps when you explained that your mom taught you about Christ in a way no one else could. For me, it was my grandma. My parents were both teachers and incredibly busy. I spent downtime with my grandma. We’d cook, hang clothes on a clothesline, work in her garden. My parents are great! My grandma was patient. ❤

Wow just when I think I couldn’t love you more this remarkable video debuts and a whole new level of respect and admiration has developed. I am blown away by all you do, your origin story including your name, but most of all the impact your wonderful mother had on your life. The relationship you cultivated with Jesus in Germany moved me to tears. It explains your deep insight into some very complex people. Please continue to share any & all biographies that interest or inspire you not just royals because you have a unique perspective that needs to be shared. Thank you Cheere Denise you are a gift to us all ❤❤❤❤❤

I know what you mean about shopping in Germany. When I first moved there, it was irritating. The limited hours, not knowing the brands, etc. But after I got used to it, I realized that shopping is not a thing with Germans. Life is. The shops closed early on Saturdays so people had the afternoon and evenings to get together. On Sunday, they were all closed and there'd be throngs of Germans taking walks in the woods, and stopping at the cafe in or near the woods for kaffe und kuchen.

You could write a memoir yourself. You’ve had such an interesting and eventful life and incredibly honest. Even your name is unique, very special. I married a German and went through the same thing as you, alone with two small kids in a village in Germany and my husband at work all the time. It was incredibly isolating because I didn’t speak as much German then and had no family support whatsoever. Now my kids are 25, 22 and 16. How time flies.

Thank you for sharing.❤ I lost my mom when I was 60 and it was way too soon. I appreciate that you share your “me” time with us reviewing the books. They entertain and enlighten me during my morning walks. I’m glad you stayed away from politics. Politics are divisive and your book reviews are inclusive. Looking forward to the next chapter!

You describe the DC experience so well. I have lived here three times. Each time I've returned, DC has lost more of its shine. You will find your place. Getting outside the beltway will likely help. 😘

What a lovely mother you had. She’s still your mom, and you will see her again! 😊

I love biography and history. I think you should still try on other biographies on other topics.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ loss of a parent is awlful. My daughter passed away last year 38. I don't even think
I've processed it yet.

Cheere, I hope you see this because I want you to know that God is working through you. Our lives are so parallel in so many ways, especially in the past 18 months.

I almost didn't see this video, but because my contacts are blurry from so many tears over the past week, I clicked on the "wrong" one ☺️

We moved a year and a half ago Birmingham AL. Like you, it's been a VERY difficult adjustment for me for many reasons. I drive past Sanford every single day, now I'll think of you when I do. We bought a home in Hoover last year, over by Russet Woods. But it was too big, so like you, we're in a tiny rental. So much upheaval and loss (my mom died last December) has been almost too much to bear. I'm incredibly lonely and isolated, and struggle to find the purpose of life every day. But your video gave my heart such joy. I can't thank you enough for sharing this. I've struggled with my relationship with God during all of this, but I can't deny that while you had no idea who would watch this and how it would touch them, He did. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

What a beautiful testimony! Have been with you from the start. Don't think you will ever know the wide variety of lives you have touched. I'm a 66 year old flight attendant that listens to you all over the world as I travel. Right now in South Africa. Raised in the south, I love your southern references. Look forward to all your videos.
