Great vid! You right; too many professional clubs focus on the technical aspect of the game too much and barely tap into the physical weight training, speed-strength, strength-speed, maximum power output, working for hypertrophy during the off-season, working on plyo’s, foot strengthening, tons of injury prevention, and working on the same types of energy systems you went over in the video. If you do only interval training for a specific period of time, it covers all 3 energy systems.
Such as Interval suicides, broncos or 5, 10, 20 metro sprints x 5 sets
After 20-30 minutes you are into the 3rd system, oxidative.
