Buying a Triumph GT6

So I decided to document one of my impulsive car buying days. In this video, I decided to pull the trigger on a classic car. A Triumph GT6 mK3.

This particular car was a real barn find and had actually been sat in a garage for over 28 years! Im afraid at the time of making this video it's very much the start of the journey and learning about the model so apologies for not providing more information.

Over the next year, we'll be rebuilding this beauty!

Bought a GT6 MK3 myself Thursday night. Always loved the sleek 60s design and to be honest prefer the shape to many prestige classics. Sending mine to have some slight blemishes fixed and then hopefully I'll be taking delivery very soon.

Great stuff, well done. You can't go wrong with a GT6, easy fixer uppers. Some parts tricky (are your window quarterlights good?) but you can do it all with a few spanners. I bought mine with a "broken" clutch too but it was just a seized master cylinder. Also the clutch plate tends to seize onto the mainshaft splines. Brilliant cars, welcome to the GT6 fraternity. Can't wait to see more, cheers

The GT6 is one of my dream cars. I've got my grandpa's Triumph Spitfire with a Buick 3.8 that's been turbocharged, has a 200R4 swap, and fully independent rear suspension out of a Ford Falcon complete with a Ford 9 inch. My other spitfire is going to be a numbers matching car aside from the paint color and the brake system. I can't decide between black and midnight blue. Aside from a 74 Corvette and a 96 Mach 1 Mustang, the Spitfire and GT6 are my dream cars.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!! (BABBVEN LAWS AND TEBBVEN ORDERS)!!!!
