I was in high school when this song released in 1972. Long ago, far away, my life, family and circumstances much different. This song brings me back to times I wish I could relive for just half an hour, if not eternally.

I was in war when this song came out. Lots of wonderful songs came out in the 70's.

wow i remember hearing this song back when i was just 12 years old, it was the first and last time i ever heard it at a shopping place when i was still in morocco and i didnt even know english well at the time but somehow it stuck with me all these years, now 26 years later today i decided to type in ''mrs jones'' 'cause that was the only thing i was able to remember and the moment i listened to the song i instantly remembered exactly where and why i was at the shopping place, thats when i realized memory is really like a puzzle, we seem to forget everything but in reality its still there all you have to do is connect it to the right piece.

I use to have a Teacher who was Mrs. JONES. When the class raised their hand we would also say, "MRS...MRS. JONES". LOL.A great memory!

I met Billy nd his wife/manager way back in 2002 in Narcotics Anonymous. Blanche was my manager! This was a number 1 hit for Billy. He even won a Grammy! I was going over my step work with Blanche, nd I went to their house. Billy was so humble! He didnt displayed the golden record or his Grammy....may he rest in peace forever

I love this song and all the oldies. Omg I grew up with all those beautiful penetrating songs going threw my heart. Everytime they show different CD's I send for them. I have a big collection, I just hope my kid's don't throw out my beautiful collection's. The day I die I want my kid's to play them all. Mmm those were the day's, the best music ever.
RIP to all those wonderful singer's and for those that wrote lots of those songs.

Although it was long ago, I so miss the "Mrs. Jones" in my life. Five years of hidden love.
For five glorious years we comforted, consoled, helped, and loved each other.

I will forever miss you Mrs. K.

Before the internet, it took me years to find this song. I went to a record shop that carried hard to find records and found it. I paid $5.00 for a 45 R.P.M. just for that song. To this very day, I love this song!

When my two children and I were in the car on day, this song came on the radio and I said this was "one of my all-time favorite songs." My son, who was fifteen, said, "Just one of her two million all-time favorites."
There is seven years between them and my daughter, then eight, agreed with him. They then proceeded to name all the songs I'd said were my "all time favorite songs." I started listening to popular music on the radio when I was eight so I had many favorites but this one would truly be on my top one hundred singles!
