I rather do my own hair charging over $100 for a $40 style. Get Aveda blow out crème less that a dot for each section, Chi flat irons and blow dry real straight before iron section hair in tiny section less than mm that’s what they call a silk press use heat protectant and deep condition after shampoo ❤ stay blessed

I still consider it a blow dry & flat iron. To me, a silk press is roller set, round brush, flat iron then wrap & comb down. It’s not the same thing in my opinion.

I've been getting my hair pressed like this for years. Instead of the flatiron, they would you the Marcels. So now they added silk and jacked up the price. Crazy!!

Silk press and flat iron are the same. I don't have a perm, and I blow dry and flat iron my hair. Therefore, I flat iron it.

The final touch should be wrapping the hair and covering it with Saran wrap under warm dryer for 5 min. It's amazing what it does to hair. Pure silk

My beautician uses a pressing comb and she will OUTPERFORM those flat irons EVERY TIME. IDK WHAT YOU GUYS ARE TALKIN ABOUT.
