Don’t feel bad about having an indoor cat both our boots are indoor only. For their safety it really is better. There are no worries about being hit by cars swooped up by hawks and they are kept safe from cruel people.

About his health if he’s not putting on weight and has hair loss have the vet check for diabetes. We had similar issues with eight and hair with our younger guy, turned out he was diabetic. He was on insulin for a year and then reverted back to a non diabetic state with a wet food only diet and no longer needs the insulin.

something about cats that people dont think about: they are not like humans or dogs, they need their food and water in separate spaces for max comfort, i didnt know this for the longest time and now i have their food bowls and water bowls in different locations and they drink SO much more !!!
