A Typical Day of a Medical School Student | Med School Student Day in the Life

This video shows my typical day of medical school. My medical school life consists predominantly of studying and trying to maximize and be efficient with my time.

Most of my day consists of either studying, lectures and small groups. I like to start my day early so I can go to the gym for a quick workout and breakfast.

Hopefully you guys found this typical day of medical school motivational and help you decide on whether or not medical school is for you. As always, feel free to leave any questions below, and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.

Some say the video is depressing. well, as a med student I can relate to this a lot... That's what we do we study as much as we can so if you're into science and human body you'll be fascinated and excited instead of bored and depressed.

I don't really understand the comments about how everyone is saying that the music is depressing. In fact, the overall theme of the video ties in with the song. It's soft, relaxing, and most importantly simple. Simple just as how a medical student's life is.
Maybe the melody is a little slow and saddening but I also feel that's the idea of pursuing into becoming a doctor. You study a lot and see a lot of horrible shit that most people can't bear to see (blood, wounds, abused patients, etc...)
The video was beautiful and so is your choice of music :)

I’m in nursing school and I can totally relate to this (despite the public’s belief, we take hard classes and study for many hours a night)
Also! For those questioning why the lecture was so empty, it’s probably because it’s 1) recorded so you can watch it from home 2) just better to read the textbook or 3) there’s a big exam tomorrow 😹
