Duncan and Carson | From Exegesis to Exposition: Help in Sermon Preparation

Ligon Duncan and Don Carson led a TGC breakout session designed to help pastors and Bible teachers prepare to preach and teach the Bible more faithfully and effectively. Using Dr. Carson’s exegesis and commentary work, Dr. Duncan gave examples of sermon structure, illustration and application on select passages.

Carson gave the most robust interpretation of Ephesians 3:14-21 that I've ever heard. Shows the benefit capturing the intangible "atmosphere" of an author's writings by interpreting the passage in light of the entire book.
