My dad recently had a liver transplant and two kind gentleman came into his room while he was recovering and played guitars and sang this song. It was a very deep, sentimental daddy/daughter moment. We both cried. Had a bad day today and needed a reminder that “it’s alright.” I will always smile and think of that precious time spent with my daddy when I hear this song. ❤️

Mama passed away this march 18 2018.. And lately im handling some problems for our family legally since im in law school and am currently taking finals exams.. Just had a dream of mama and we were in our old home. She was so happy and reassured me that i can do it and this is the time of difficulty to prove how strong i really am she said. She smiled at me and THIS EXACT song was playing while the dream happened while we were in our old home (we bought a new home and mama did not get to live here). I do not know this song because i never really listened to the beatles. I recalled the lyrics and sound and this was it..

i always cry when listening to this song because i assosiate it with my chidhood. my dad always used to play this song in the car when we were driving at night and i remeber feeling so safe and never wanting those moments to end. i remember my dad softly singing along to it while lightly tapping his fingers on the steering wheel as i watched the light go by and doze off too sleep while hearing this. my dad isnt dead, just hes more cold towards me now and i really miss those times when he was kindest to me and for some reason this song makes me feel that way. o here i am, bawling my eyes out because im heartbroken and really happy at the same time alone at 9:59 on a sunday night just wanting my dad to love me like he used to.

My mother introduce this great set of talented men when I was a toddler (over 40 yrs ago). I still listen to them and have used one of there songs at my wedding and one at my son's funeral. 50 yrs later their music still is being used for commercials, shows, weddings, and funerals.
