Considering how most body builders end up, he’s done pretty good

I met Dorian once and I asked what does it take. He said one word, CONSISTENCY.

For those that say steroids, they’re useless without consistency. The stage was complete with steroid users and abusers, but the most consistent in diet and training won 🏆. Steroids enhance your greatness, they do not make you great.

Dorian quit while he still had his health. Smart man.

My favorite Dorian Yates story is that he was training in the U.K. and he stepped outside to miserable weather knowing that his competition was basking in California sun. He said..."They are gonna pay, man they are gonna pay!" Motivation!!

“Bodybuilding is just an adaptation to stress.” I love it. And I love that it’s also therapy for mental stress.

It's strange. The guy was a champion, had a determination like no other, yet at the same time he's very humble & easy-going. What an unusual combo.

Dorian Yates: "That's not me."

I like Dorian, he is so honest and down-to-earth. No ego or pretense.

I remember growing up in the 90s and seeing his photos thinking this is a bad and tough dude. I'm glad to see he's still around, appears humble and nice.

I never train my forearms either, just beating off gets me ripped and lean.

The ONLY bodybuilder that I've ever seen that truly looked like he was carved out of granite ! A great inspiration !

Seems like a decent, humble, unassuming guy. Refreshing to see that from someone that reached the highest levels of their sport.

He trains his legs once a week and would feel the pain for about 4 to 5 days. That's just insane!!!

Dorian is spot on, the 90’s was the best bodybuilding era. I don’t even know any of todays bodybuilders but could literally name everyone of the 90’s

I love Dorian! He's just real. He's open and honest about drugs and training and himself and the sport. Really cool guy. It drives me nuts to see people shaming him for being "small" now. These people have no idea how much effort is required in building and maintaining that much mass. It's so much more than steroids. It's diet, training, sleep...sacrifice. He missed out on a lot of stuff to accomplish this goal and now he's happy just being "normal" and being able to buy a suit off the rack. I can respect that. Nothing wrong with being normal.
