What I would use the o4 lite for would be mainly focussed on just having fun, not trying to get good footage. Just something to put on a tinywhoop to get better image quality and potentially range than I am getting with analogue. The range and penetration on analogue just isn't great, it is mostly good enough for a tiny whoop but I would like better. If I was interested in filming then I would go for the o4 Pro.

O4 lite is perfect for me as I've only ever done analog and fly tinywhoops. Ordered the Pavo Femto and Meteort65. So excited to try it. My wife is ready for me to stop talking about, lol.

O4 lite is for newbies just starting to me. Just right for me. Next drone is going to be a pro. But when your budget is low. And you just want to build something. I think it’s pretty ok.

21:55 and 22:37 you mixed up the sensor sizes - O4 Pro is 1/1.3" and O4 Lite is 1/2", not the other way around.

19:27 there's definitely wide fov option on the lite (you said normal was its biggest fov) and it's very close to wide on O3 and O4 Pro, only very slightly narrower.

20:04 there's no Gyroflow support at ultra wide on O4 Pro (or O3), you need to shoot in wide to have gyro data available (that's the case on all DJI stuff that supports Gyroflow).

Anyway, one important thing I would note is that since Goggles 2 and later fov in live view isn't affected by your recording fov setting, using the lite might actually be preferable for some people because it's less fisheye-y. I think some racers in particular might like that. I'll personally be using Pro on everything except my 1S 65mm whoop (22g isn't that bad, just a couple years ago Meteor65 and Mobula6 analog were around that weight or a bit more and we loved them).

Perfectly content with Moonlight and 1s v3 lite kit. The 04 is exciting but I don't feel like I'm missing out.

The range of that ‘lite” unit compared to the Walksnail lite!!! That was impressive. Every review is about image but honestly when you don’t trust the range and the way it breaks.

thank you so much for the warning about the voltage... i think that without you, my brand new o4 lite would have burned..
