My just from the 2mto, the 3 series that’s incredible what DJI has done. 1000 well before my intro, to Drones, think I was still setting in my shack on the ham radio all day though the weekdays. Now since I can’t have radio where I live I have met Drones and I love it just as much. Studying for my Part 107 right nowadays while the weather is cold and snowy. Tomorrow however we take a break and fly gonna be in the 50’s next few days so got to, take advantage of it. Watching batteries charge right now. Still miss radio though. Nice history there Ken!

Thanks Ken. I appreciate the link. But, I have a lot more questions. LOL. In particular, in seems that DJI no longer provide any software support or downloads for the P2. Any ideas that a new pilot can use?

Hi Ken, thanks for this very fun and informative video - it made my day! Quick question - I just bought a second hand P2 Vision + but alas as we all now know DJI vision app no longer works with higher iOS versions. What app do you know could possibly work so that I can actually see what I'm filming and get FPV - cheers!

hi ken.just acquiring a dji phantom 2 soon.so it will come with fc40 camera but want to either use a gopro 3 or my own ricoh wgm1 action camera.so for gopro 3 i need a mount can it be without mtors and will wifi range be ok as standard.steve in uk.

I met you a couple years ago at the Mindfield and you it would be dicey flying this around all those structures with no vision.

Dug my Phantom 2 out of the closet and threw a battery on the charger. Also have to charge the GoPro, the controller, and the FPV monitor. I'm already starting to remember how much of a huge PITA this thing was to get off the ground compared to my Mavic 2 Pro. Also, it only connects to GPS. So there've been times I've used almost 5-10% of the battery just waiting for satellites to connect. Oh, and then trying to constantly adjust the directional antenna while I'm flying in order to maintain a clear signal was also a chore. I did get some nice footage of the Santa Monica Pier before I knew, or there was, a flight restriction.
