I’m house sitting and wasn’t really paying attention when the owner explained how to use the remote. Your explanation saved me!

I knew most of this but not all, so thank you very much. Something worth mentioning: if you miss some dialogue you can hold down Siri and ask “What did he (or she) say, ”, and Apple TV will rewind and replay with captions. Then the captions disappear. Or you can ask Siri to replay the previous amount of time desired. In fact, you can ask Siri just about anything, such as What’s the Dodger score (I personally don’t care, haha). Thanks again. Oh, and there is a new remote! And a tag for when it’s lost! But the remote we use is more than adequate.

When using the iPhone as a remote and a person is searching for a movie title, just use voice dictation on the iPhone. This will save typing all together in most cases.
