Hacking Up the E36! : BMW E36 325i Drift Build Ep.25

Slow progress is still progress! Personally I've made little to no progress on my e36 build since it's now my daily and work all time! The turbo will happen people just need to chill, it's not easy unless you have loads of cash to just throw at your projects. Keep up the good work Austin.

Hey Austin I hope you read this. I have a 1992 5 speed 325i. I've been through 3 Getrag transmissions (blown second gear during spirited driving. I suggest you get a ZF transmission that came on the 1996-99 323i 328i some early E39 528i (With M52). You will need the driveshaft from the 328i or the 323i along with the shifter assembly. Good luck. Those are the same transmissions as the M3 (ZF 320z.)

clean all the power steering areas (i sprayed a bunch of brake cleaner everywhere). one of the leaks could just be the connection of the return line and the reservoir. mine (93 325i) had that issue.

Have you ever had a oil pan leak yet? my e36 leaking oil all over the place. kind of scared to do that job myself.

That's because those oem 5/7 series rims run like 1/3 -1/2 the offset you need, if you had the proper offset they wouldn't rub at all. Unless that's the exact fitment your going for I don't see why you had to cut the fender lip because with the proper offset wheels and properly sized tires they tuck and fit perfectly.

if you have money i think its better for you to cut the rear 1/4 panel of the miata and try to go wide i will solve the problem and he's going to look insane
