people ask me what it's like to have gay parents as well. I'm always like "don't know, what's it like to have straight parents?" usually makes them laugh a little ^^'

I know I'm not the only person to say this but I really appreciate videos like this because I'm gay and sometimes the homophobic stuff people say about how it's bad for children to have gay parents can be depressing and it makes me feel like I'm going to ruin my kids lives (when I eventually have them) but watching videos like these really helps to make me feel better, so thank you so much 💖

thank you for this video... as a lesbian i've always worried about my future kids possibly resenting me because they didn't grow up with a "traditional" lifestyle. but it's nice to see that if your parents are awesome, it doesn't matter who they love!
also: seeing as china isn't necessarily an LGBT-open place, do you know if your parents had issues getting to finally adopt a child from there? (i'm asian-american so i've always hoped to adopt a child from asia)

I was an Aupair for gay parents that had adopted 2 children from Guatemala. They are the best moms ever! I still keep in touch with the family. I really hate when people come for them;

Your parents did an amazing job!! I will never understand people that don’t support gay marriage or think that gay couples shouldn’t have kids! I live in Texas and I am a Christian! I always bring up the argument that maybe God’s plan all along was for gay people to be able to care for all of the unwanted children in the world!! It shuts them up every time!!! Love this video but thinking about how these videos still are a necessity makes me a bit sad. My gay friend in Argentina was kissing her girlfriend on the street and her neighbour threw an egg at them. Wish there was less hate out there🧡

Hi Alex, My name is Mike and I'm a 48 year old gay man. I want you to know that I am very proud of you as well as your mothers. I recently became an ordained minister to join my best friends ( I can't disclose names due to legal reasons) holy matrimony. They are in the process of adopting a child. I think it's absolutely a blessing in all directions.
You are all blessed to have one another as a family. I just watched the Wilderness Resort vlog and fell in love with your whole family.
I too live close The Magic Kingdom so if I ever see you all there I will be sure to say Hi, and more than likely want a hug.

my mom is a lesbian, i can relate not knowing anyone growing up who had parents. however I never told friends upfront, even now I still don't mention to friends that my mom is lesbian just because of the way my moms had brought me up having me introduce my 2nd mom as my "aunt". Kinda' long story but I've stuck with that all my life! But this is super awesome to meet another FL native with two mommy like me! :D

I'm splurging through gay parent videos because i want the perspective for my future kids because as a gay person I've never really heard from the children's perspective. Obviously being gay i would assume it would be normal for you because in my experience we are pretty normal, but at that point i would have had decades to accept that subtle or not so subtle discrimination could happen so this probably was pretty strange just to talk about your normal life but its really reassuring for me so thanks!
