I agree it is very important to be early for a photo session. It is smart to go over with your client and get ready for the session because time is so important. The environment is also so important to revise before the photo session you never want to have any surprises before your session. I isually used to check out the set a day before if I could. It is so embarrasing for unexpected things to happen in front of your client because you didnt prepare. I used to be a photographer as well! Thanks for the advice! Love your video!😁

These are great tips. Things that “common sense” but probably wouldn’t think or you’d think you can “skip” some tips. Like it’s so important to be flexible and listen to what the client actually wants and not just stick with your “vision”

i had a fair share of my photoshoot too. And your number 1 tip is very important. now that i am not doing photoshoot anymore, i get so frustrated when i hire photographer and they never communicate to the client. that's my first expectation since i do that when i used to do photoshoot.

Yeah, that happened to me when I used to work with Kaman's Art Shoppe as Park Photographer couple of years ago (Where I photographed customers at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California).
