So just to be clear: we should allow children under the age of legal consent to make life altering decisions and potentially undergo irreversible surgery to add or remove cosmetic body parts that literally don't even function properly but we're crossing the line at having a conversation with them and trying to get them to think about the repercussions of their actions?
