About Video:-
according to faraday, when we rotate a wire inside a magnetic field, an electromotive force is generated in it. we can also call this force voltage.
to generate electricity we have two mechanisms, one stator winding is set on the armature and the other stator winding is set on the stator itself.
when we talk about small generators, the armature winding is always mounted on the rotor, but in a thermal power plant or a big station, the stator winding of a synchronous generator remains mounted on the stator, due to which heavy current and voltage can be easily collected.
in this video, the working principle of the synchronous generator has been explained with the help of 3d animation. apart from this, the working of salient pole synchronous generator and cylindrical pole synchronous generator and synchronous motor has been explained in detail.
