She's giving an honest answer. Nowadays, it's 10k for 7-8 hours jobs and the employers always say I'll give you 15-18k after a few months!!! Even to experienced candidates in Tier 2 towns 🤬🤬

No need to do BBA. Just do a Digital marketing course online and if you have a Commercial art degree or diploma even better. I am a freelancer and i make way more than 40k per month and im also a graphic designer and im a fine arts graduate.
Work for few years with an agency. Side by side do freelaancing and then open your own agency. Its not a high investment business. Very easy if u are creative and have good communication skills.

Speaking from my personal experience and being in the industry for more than 5 years, Social media is not a high-paying job if you work with any company, and in the case of DM agencies, the pay is the worst. Yeah, in terms of Freelancing, it's a total game changer but again if you get some good clients to work with continuously! Also, the freelancing market is very crowded, and the job itself has been saturated as more people day by day are getting into Social media marketing.

I'm an aspiring Digital Marketer and trust me nobody is ready to give you job without an experience. So you have to do the internships which will pay you 5k-15k and most of the times it is unpaid for 3-6 months. But If you have done some projects or have 1 year experience, you can get starting salary around 3-4 LPA.

it's on you how you do it, freelancers here in Mumbai are earning 2-3 Lacs per month, do market research before pitching your client, use the latest AI and digital marketing tools like ODOO to introduce more convenience in the working pattern, you have to check finances properly even it is a tiny advertising deal.

1 clients pays you 10-15k, get more clients then you will earn a decent income from wfh.

They must be earning around 50k to up to 1lakh.

SMM does pay well, at least on Internshala. Expect a minimum of ₹5000 that flies as high as ₹20-25, 000. Unlike most HR internships, which are either unpaid or pay a bare minimum of ₹1000-2000.
