The Ninja V is an awesome recorder. I feel like 5" displays are ideal on cameras and gimbals. And also for the price and what it is capable of, I would highly recommend it.

Are you able to shoot 4K 60 with Sony A7iii and the ninja?

Lee: is there an advantage to shooting ProRes HQ with the a7 III as opposed to just ProRes?

can it record 60 fps in 4k from A7iii? The camera cant record that internally... hmm.. you said so at 5:25. The camera can only do 24/25 fps if you want the full sensor width..

Would you be able to confirm how compatible this would be with the Canon 1Dx mkii? the Atomos site suggests pair it with the Ninja Flame but the Ninja V seems better for my business, i'd very much rather have the Ninja V but I can't seem to get any answers on whether or not it's any good for the 1Dxii, any insight at all would honestly be very much appreciated

Is there anyway to connect the Ninja V to an external monitor. I have a simple studio, and my niche is makeup therefore the quality of the image and color is key for my videos. I just bought this monitor / recorder to see if now I can manage better the quality of my videos but I would like to keep my big monitor so I can see the small details of the work on a bigger screen and ensure that I’m in focus, etc. I know that I have the Ninja but 5” is too small and I can’t have the Ninja monitor near because the cable is too short. I’m going to buy a new one for sure!!! Any suggestion?

Bro I just got one for my 5DMARKIV but didn’t realize the 5D4 could not output 4K🥺🥺🥺. Also the hdmi signal does not communicate frame rate to the external monitor automatically you have to manually set hdmi frame rate each time in the 5D😰

Cool review! I'm shooting with the EOS R and the Atomos Ninja V shows "no input" after 1 min or so when recording, I assume because the EOS R goes to sleep? Have you seen or heard anything like that? When I half-press the shutter button, the image comes back on the Ninja V. Ideas?

i need some help guys! for some reason every 5-6 projects on the ninja v i get a pretty noticable WB color shift. the ninja v tends to be warmer than what my gh5 is showing the screen and it makes it extremely difficult to nail my WB. does anyone else have this problem? atomos said that this is "normal" but this is the second time this has happened within a span of 4 months or so. i sent it in the first time and they recalibrated everything but now im back at square one
