I’ve had my multiflora for almost 2 years. It blooms constantly and I I was having the issue where it blasted some of the blooms. I think it needs the be more consistently moist when blooming. I’ve experimented with increasing the watering frequency once I see buds forming and they keep more of them if not all. I keep up on watering until I see the blooms starting to fade. In my conditions I’m watering every 4-5 days for about a month to keep the blooms going.

My multiflora constantly flowers even through winter. I have her in leca, though. When she was still in the soil, all my peduncles blasted coz I wasn't keeping it as moist as it liked. So, i guess my tip is to keep it more moist than usual when it's budding; it's what I do with all my other hoyas when they're budding, and it works so far.

PS: I'm not an expert, but I do have over 100 hoyas.

Goodluck and thanks for the Monday video. 😊

Nick, you are like the Bob Ross of the house plant world! I discovered your channel at the beginning of the pandemic, and I watched your content while I sewed masks. I've always enjoyed your fun honesty: not every plant is perfect or grows as expected, and might even (GAK!) have PESTS! All of us indoor gardeners struggle with this kind of stuff and I just find your vlog really fun.

This is one of my many wishlist Hoya, haha. The blooms are so unique and it almost looks more like a Ficus or Schefflera. I love it.

I thought a Hoya below this one was getting pests due to the sticky substance, which I realized was the sap from my Multiflora. This is one of the easiest Hoya for me. It is blooming all year long but has 5 peduncles. Mine loves the southern window it is in. The blinds are often partially closed but even if they are not it's growing like crazy!

I've learned with mine that I need everything to be consistent the lighting, the temperature, the watering. If anything changes it drops blooms but if I can keep everything consistent then I get the big full clusters

Thank you for covering bud blast… I consistently lose 1/3-1/2 my buds. I keep it fairly evenly moist and I don’t move it or change conditions. But the blooms that make it are always gorgeous
