Good tips. Bottom line: Stay flexible, do your planning and research ahead, and I especially like your advice to get off the beaten path - always a great idea even when traveling in "normal" times. There are so many fabulous destinations and sights to seek out where you don't have to stand in endless queues fighting off hordes of other travelers trying to catch a glimpse of something for one second without someone else's head in the way.

Great tips! We didn't know about those virtual travel options. We're currently in Costa Rica and they've just approved a remote work visa, so that's another country that could be an option for remote working 😀

You’re right about places checking way more about your covid documents than your passport these days. We just travelled from Greece and our passports barely got glanced at but our QR codes linked to covid were checked at every point. The 1 year visas do sound really good, we looked into the Barbados one but it’s pricey 😬😅

Very inspiring 😍 We went to the Galapagos Islands during the COVID, and as their economy is basically from tourism they were happy to see tourists there, they have some extra rules because of the COVID and they have managed the COVID cases very well in Galapagos. The experience to be there was awesome! Play with sea lions, swim with sharks and mantas, befriend a giant tortoise and iguanas... love it 😍😎🐢🐟🐋

I’ve been daydreaming about 2021 all year! I totally understand that the change will be gradual. It will take a while before the effects of the vaccine will be prevalent. It's such a weird concept to first think about health requirements for a place before even booking a flight ticket, but it's all about rolling with the punches. Also, Delta and United and other airlines have completely waived change fees on flights so a little less worry about booking that ticket! Great tips, hoping travel returns a bit to normal next year!
