Also - tell us what are you using (arduino or similar), what drivers are the stepper motors using?
What type/size of stepper motors do you use (NEMA)?
Are you using harmonic drives, if "yes", what brand (link would be helpful)?

I'm asking because I'm planing to build few of scara robot for my small production company, and I need to choose joint gear type, I think that belt with aluminum pulleys is most cost efective, thanks for info and keep upe your work :)
