100% freaking percent, voting times is just stressful and anxiety inducing for me, so i try and stay away from it now, and I don’t stream much anymore, last time I repeatedly watched a video it ruined the song for me, if I enjoy the song and mv then yeah I’ll watch it more, but not to the extent of it being a million times a day

I am with you 100% on this as well. I also don't talk about my groups 24/7 in order to prove i am a stan like alot of fans do now a days because that is just really dumb to me like i cant imagine how they got all this time to tweet all day about them? just something i never got but dont judge since we are all different. I also do not interact much more with the fandoms or fans due to the fact that over the past couple of years i can't enjoy my groups music as much as i normally do thanks to all the negativity going around. I also dont ever say my fandom is the best fandom because no fandom is the best in my opinion and almost equally the same. I also don't go off saying someone paved the way because again so many beautiful k pop artists and groups helped out this movement with inspiration along with the fact that if we didn't have social media and streaming services today then i think kpop would still be the same. i mean no disrespect in that form and im proud just wish others could be more open minded to that. there is a list i could do about what i dont do but those are my main lately. i feel like making a video myself on this. I also feel like for streaming i am wasting so much data and making my electricity bill so high by using all the devices that some people do. i feel like it is a waste of time because you aint even listening to the song while it is playing on those other 5 devices, i also think the process is too long. i also believe that youtube view counter after so many people watching it from the same playlists ends up getting the rhythm of it that it ends up thinking it is a bot which is why it ends up taking so many views off of it.I personally just dont think it is programmed to stream 1 video by so many people along with devices at a time that it has so many issues. so i dont think they are an anti like fans are saying. opps sorry i got off topic! excuse my long comment.

I feel the same way as you. I have done the streaming of Youtube videos and on Spotify and done the voting in the past but now I don't care about all that stuff. I felt like I had to, like it was my duty as a fan to do all those things. Now If i'm streaming it, it's because i want to watch the video or want to listen to the music. It's pretty time consuming and kind of stressful to always make sure that it's streaming in the background and people make it a competition to see who can stream the most which I don't like.

i thought about the “goal setting”/“award” thing the other day, and realized that i don’t really care if my faves (mainly bangtan cause i focus on them) get high on charts or win certain awards. i completely agree that if you appreciate a group/artist for what they do then that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

when dynamite reached 1 on billboard hot 100, i didn’t care much because of what the song essentially is. bighit asked some western producers to make a song to promote, and bangtan didn’t even work on it themselves. they only sung and performed it. to me, dynamite as a song isn’t really bangtan’s, and it’s only in english so ofc it’s gonna get popular in the west. i know bangtan and army have been waiting for this moment for years, but it’s honestly kind of a fake feeling since they barely helped make it. now if a song/album that the members actually helped produce and write got number 1 on western charts, then i would be very proud. though, i’m not sure exactly if that’ll be the case next time.

i had to get that off my chest to some people who may also agree with me. it’s seems like i’m the minority when it comes to that opinion :/

And i also dont stream either. As a mom of 2 with health issues etc i dont have the time to anyways. Only ones i MAY stream is ones who need help like cross gene and ukiss etc
