Man found driving car of woman who's been missing for 2 weeks: Police

I met Karen approximately 20 years ago when I moved to Houston from the East Coast. I met her after my daughter suggested that I join her Meetup group.
On day one she loving welcomed me and we became real/true friends. I attended many events with her in the group and in smaller settings and occasionally just the two of us.

I unfortunately didn't hear about this horrible event until about 2 weeks ago. It appeared in a feed.

After reading it I cried like a sobbing baby. I like most people who knew Karen loved her dearly.

To her immediate family I'm praying for all of you. Please know that she is resting in heavenly peace. I believe that with all my heart because Karen Miles treated people with sincere love and kindness.

Channel 13 so the police have not asked this guy how he got her car. If he doesn't know her how did he get his car and where did he get it from

Family didn't report her missing until 8 days later? Anyone try to reach her after a couple of days of not seeing her. You can report a missing person after 24 to 48 hrs.

He will be held until foresics are done, he tells how he obtained the vehicle and his phone records are checked. Investigators please get on your job. Bring her home.
