Didn't Paul Rebuke Peter for Heresy?

Didn't Paul rebuke Peter for heresy No Paul did not rebuke Peter for heresy Paul rebuked Peter for being inconsistent with what Peter himself was preaching Peter an Antioch chose not to sit with the Gentiles but this was inconsistent with his message because he was preaching that Gentiles and Jews were one body and you don't have to become Jewish in order to be a Christian and a follower of Jesus and to be saved And so again Peter was being inconsistent in his actions with the very words that he preached and Paul rebuked him for that inconsistency

Are you tired of all the confusion in the Catholic Church? So was I! For this reason, I decided to intensely study the Catholic Magisterium in order to discern between what people say about the Catholic Church vs. what it actually says and teaches. If you are a confused Catholic, or are discerning becoming a Catholic, Reason & Theology offers you an in-depth examination of the situation in the Catholic Church that will help make sense of the confusion.

And Paul admonished Peter “to his face”! That part of the scripture passage today’s wannabePaul’s fail to mention when criticizing Pope Francis.

Thats not the whole picture. Because paul explicitly states that peter in his hypocrisy is "trying to force the gentiles to live as the jews do" refering to the fact that many. Peter included at this time, were teaching that you had to have fauth in christ, and follow the laws of moses to be christian.

No matter how you swing it peter was producing a false teaching that was leading people astray. Paul states that even barnabas was lead astray by it.

When observing the passage in its entirety, and whole context it is clear that peter did not teach inerrantly.

The go to rescue device for this is to state that peter had somehow, or anothet not enguaged his papal infalability for this particular teaching. But the issue is scripture never gives us any kind of critera to determine when that is happening. Matter of fact it never states that peter, or the apostles are infalable in any way to begin with.

And all the modern definitions of when popes are "speaking from the seat of peter" are nebulously used for the purpous of being able to pick and choose when peter, or a pope is infalable at a later time.

Side note, but the background Gregorian Chant is beautiful

This is why I’ve converted to Catholicism. Paul rebuked Peter but he did NOT challenge his authority. When I related this to Protestants changing churches and preachers over disagreements it shows me it’s not biblical to be Protestant. Add everything else up, like the fact that Peter was the anointed pope and Christ would only recognize the Catholic Church, and the rest of the Protestants came 1500 years after Christ walked, it’s easy to see why I switched from Protestantism to Catholicism. To know history is to be Catholic, most Protestants have been sucked into a belief that’s watered down, easy, and quick. I wanted more.

This teaching also hits home to some trads and many conservative Protestants, in the past and now, that believe races in the United States should have been kept separate. One body means one body. To that end you can't split from a brother.

Also did not God showed Peter in a vision in the Acts of the Apostles, to also preach the Gospel of Salvation to the Gentles?

Was Jesus not perfect? He placed Peter in charge, and warned us of false prophets

Yet Catholic canon law states the First See is judged by no one?

The ramifications of Peter being inconsistent are huge against the authority of the Pope, though

And what did Paul do so he wouldn’t offend the Jews? Why he, himself, circumcised Timothy…yeah, right after saying “if you cut it off, you cut yourself off”.
Funny how Protestants never want to talk about that.
