despite having been retired and defunct by the Companies that used to operate them, those super Prestigious Trains, like the legendary 20th. century Limited from the NYC, keep on running the rails till today, never to reach their final station or their home depot.

If a steam Locomotive is alive, as all steam nuts know, then it stands to reason there must be ghost trains.

If you ask me it’s just plain unfair that no New York central Hudsons or Niagaras were preserved all because of Alfred E Perlman’s anti preservation ambition. 275 and 27 respectively but all gone. Preservation doesn’t make railroads old. It shows how far railroading has come.

You know, here in Brazil, in the 1940's, there was a big train accident. The train was running late and going down hill. To try to make up time, the driver put the regulator on it's maximum. I'm sorry to say that they didn't make past the curve at the bottom. Around 100 people died and many were injured.
They say that on stormy afternoons, you can hear the shrill whistle and the sound of the crash all around the valley

This is the first time I’ve heard this song, then I saw Green T9 With Face’s Version Of This Song and I now love this song. Now I’m back to where I first heard this song.
