How to sell products online

If you're like most creators, you've probably failed miserably.

I know I did.

3 years ago I tried selling my first course. I spent months making it perfect.

Polishing every little detail.

I was so excited to launch.
... and exactly 0 people bought it.

Ouch.

But here's the thing...

Most creators think selling is about having an amazing product.

It's not.

Selling is about having an amazing offer.

What's the difference?

Your product is what you make.

Your offer is what people get.

See, people don't care about your "course" or your "coaching".

They care about the transformation.

They want to know:

• How will this change my life?
• What problem will this solve for me?
• Why should I care?

That's what your offer needs to communicate.

Here's what my offer would look like:

1. Start with the end result
What's the big transformation you're promising?

2. Make it specific
Don't say "lose weight". Say "lose 20 pounds in 90 days".

3. Address objections
What might stop people from buying? Answer those concerns.

4. Add urgency
Why should they buy now instead of later?

5. Reduce risk
Offer a guarantee or free trial to make it a no-brainer.

6. Tell a story
Share how you or others achieved the promised result.

People buy outcomes, not products.
